In a former local stone salting house, this 90 m² cottage spans two floors and features a mezzanine and a 13 m² terrace with one of the best views in the region—woodlands, forests, mountains, valleys, and south-west exposure—all in a tiny, secluded hamlet at 1,000 meters altitude. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor: a master bedroom with a 160 cm bed and separate toilet, and a children’s room with three 90 cm beds. Upstairs, you’ll find a living area with lounge, dining room, kitchen, and a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. Enjoy peace, quiet, and natural beauty—perfect for a writer’s or artist’s retreat. Parking is available for cars and motorcycles. Many hiking and mountain biking trails are nearby. You can swim in the La Chaise-Dieu lake, go canoeing, fishing, and swim in the Allier River, as well as explore a rich cultural heritage (Romanesque churches, abbeys, castles, and more). At 1,000 meters altitude, the main house is set in the heart of nature, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. Enjoy complete tranquility, interrupted only by birdsong. This is the perfect place to work, recharge, or gather with family for reunions, celebrations, or other events, especially with two gîtes available (accommodating up to 20–25 people in total). You’ll have stunning views of Mont Mouchet and the Cantal and Lozère mountains. Numerous hiking trails are nearby. You can swim at the La Chaise-Dieu lake, 18 km away, and there are swimming pools in Brioude and Langeac, 25 km away. Canoeing and kayaking are available on the Allier River in Langeac. The house features a veranda, a spacious terrace with a view, four bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a bathtub), and an open kitchen connected to the living and dining area. A holiday liability insurance certificate is now required for the duration of your stay. Sheets and towels are included. Heating is available in winter for an extra fee. A beautiful traditional house, typical of Île d'Yeu (white facades, blue shutters), tastefully furnished with antique tiles, tulle mosquito nets on the beds, armchairs, paintings, and decorations. The ground floor includes a living room, dining room, kitchen, WC, office, bathroom with bathtub and walk-in shower, and a master bedroom (160 cm bed). Upstairs, there are two bedrooms (one with a 160 cm bed or two 80 cm beds, and one with a 140 cm bed), an independent bathroom, and a separate WC. In the annex, you will find a suite with a bedroom (160 cm bed) and a room with bunk beds (two 80 cm beds, one person per bed), as well as a bathroom with walk-in shower and a WC. The 500 m² garden is filled with flowers and features two beautiful holm oaks providing shade in summer. Rowenta fans in all bedrooms (two are pedestal fans with remote controls). Barbecue available, but its use depends on municipal regulations for safety reasons. The beach is only a 6-minute bike ride away, and Port Joinville is 1.5 km from the house. The property is located on a quiet dead-end street, perfect for relaxing. The main house accommodates two to six guests, and the annex two to four guests. The "Four à Pain" gite is a renovated cottage built around an old bread oven, offering two levels over 70 m². On the ground floor, you'll find a living area with a lounge, dining space, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower, and a convertible sofa (110 cm). Upstairs, discover antique Chinese furniture, a four-poster bed (90 cm), an opium bed (120 cm), a reception table, and a double bed for two adults (160 cm).
